Welcome to Dunns Automotive Ltd

We ARE A FAMILY BUSINESS ESTABLISHED IN 2019...

when we identified a disparity between the rapid increase in ADAS components being fitted to vehicles, and the ability for bodyshops to have them calibrated post-repair.

Our ambition is to be a trusted partner for bodyshops, in delivering cars back to customers as quickly as possible, following an appropriate calibration.

All of our technicians hold the AOM230 IMI accreditation, and are qualified to carry out electric vehicle shutdowns.

We are now also able to offer calibrations for vehicle owners at our unit in Hamble, Southampton. This is by appointment only.

DOES YOUR VEHICLE NEED CALIBRATION?

Following an accident or a replacement module, calibration of cameras and radars is often required to ensure they function properly. We refer to manufacturer methods to determine whether calibration is necessary. If there are no methods available or if they are unclear, we use our experience and judgement to advise you. We don't charge a fee for plugging the car in to investigate.

We are equipped with a vast range of calibration tools so that we can cover most makes and models of vehicle. Every car has its own individual set of requirements, so please give us a call to discuss what we can do for you.

Our mobile service for bodyshops is typically available the same or next day.

Car owners are welcome to make an appointment at our unit in Southampton. If you are not local to us, give us a call and we'll see if our mobile team is able to help you.

MOST BRANDS OF VEHICLE COVERED.

Often new camera and radar modules need to be coded to the car before they will operate. As car manufacturers are increasingly restricting the after market options available for coding new modules, we continually invest in the OEM tools we need. We’ll then follow up with a calibration if it’s needed, and provide you with reports. All you need to do is let us know when the module is being fitted.
