Universal Garage was established back in 1935, It first started trading from premises in Silver Street, Whitby from what was originally old coaching houses and stables.
Universal Garage has been synonymous with Renault since 1971 when the Renault Franchise was first formed.
Since moving premises from Silver Street, Whitby, North Yorkshire to new premises in Enterprise Way, Whitby back in November 2005.
The workshops have been dramatically updated to comply with today's modern technology.
A large investment has been made which has included the installation of 4 lifts, MOT equipment, up to the minute computer systems and telecoms infrastructure. Several facilities that directly benefit the customer including customer wash-rooms, a comfortable reception waiting area with Free WiFi connection, papers and refreshments.
